The Mo Group is an interior design company present on the Polish market since 1995. It specializes in the sale of ceramic tiles, sanitary ware and fittings, furniture and bathroom accessories, as well as construction chemicals and lighting.
The IT team at Mo Group struggled with the manual process of installing and updating software on employee computers. This was not only time-consuming but also increased the risk of being stuck with outdated, vulnerable versions of applications. Manually configuring computers led to frequent errors and omissions, and inventorying the company's software required several weeks of work.
Because the company manages its IT environment and user identities using Active Directory, we implemented PDQ Inventory & Deploy, a set of tools enabling centralized software management. From this point on, the installation and update process runs automatically in the background, without requiring user intervention. New computers added to the domain are immediately included in the inventory and configured according to company standards. Furthermore, we connected PDQ to an official Dell tool, enabling automatic driver and firmware updates, increasing system security and stability.
The company has saved dozens of hours of IT team work, and security levels have significantly improved. Software installation no longer causes user downtime, and each new device is automatically configured according to company guidelines. Audits of the company's software now take only moments – the administrator can generate a report with a single click, gaining immediate access to comprehensive information. Furthermore, detailed insight into computer specifications and usage patterns has allowed for better hardware replacement planning, resulting in more effective cost control. This allows the IT department to be proactive, and its work is highly valued by company employees.
